Introducing our Partner: The Barn at Spring Brook Farm

The Barn at Spring Brook Farm began as the dream of Mary Beth Drobish, who believed that children with disabilities could benefit physically and psychologically from interactions with specially selected farm animals. Since its beginning. The common diagnoses of children served include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy and Developmental Delay. The Barn’s programs help children set and achieve goals that complement their learning at school, in outside therapies and in their home life. The goal is to promote confidence, improve self-esteem, and support leadership qualities in children with disabilities through animal-assisted and nature-based experiences.

This year, Sun East Foundation sponsored the Barn’s Autumn Fest Socialization Event, one of the many nurturing and fun experiences for the children and their families.
