Executive Director
Jeannine Anckaitis joined Sun East Federal Credit Union as Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility in August 2025 and became Executive Director of the Sun East Foundation in July 2026.
Previously, she was Executive Director for Youth Development United (formerly known as Chester Upland Youth Soccer.) While there, she co-founded Chester’s Mentoring Initiative, a coalition of non-profits who met regularly to learn from each other and from outside experts in order to better serve youth, their families and the community during and following the pandemic.
Jeannine now serves as the Chairperson for YDU’s Board and is also an active member in the Project W giving circle and on the Scott Arboretum Education Committee. Jeannine has also been a regular volunteer with St. Katharine Drexel Food Pantry, the Swarthmore Public Library, Chester Charter Scholars’ Academy and Cradles to Crayons.
Earlier in her career, she was a communications professional in the automotive industry, handling public relations for a number of General Motors brands as well as Volvo and Edmunds.com over a 23-year span.
Jeannine earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Lafayette College and her Certificate in Nonprofit Management from The Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University’s School of Business.
