Grant Application
To apply for funds for a registered charity in the Greater Brandywine Valley, complete the Grant Application.
The Foundation board members will review all applications and determine approval based on Foundation giving guidelines and availability of funds. The Foundation will consider requests from qualified tax-exempt, 501(c3) organizations who support one of the following objectives:
- Education
- Health and Human Services
- Natural, Cultural and Historic Preservation
The Foundation will not provide funding to the following:
- Individuals
- Events that do not serve the welfare of people in the community such as reunions, post prom, signage or advertisements.
- Religious organizations in support of their sacramental or theological functions
- Political groups
- Athletic organizations or alumni associations – unless its sole purpose is for scholarship or educational advancement
- Organizations that have been funded within the last 12–month period
Any charities or community organizations wishing to be considered for a grant from the Foundation are to submit a proposal stating the organization’s purpose, and how funds will be applied. All requests are submitted for approval to:

Grant Applications will be reviewed at the Board’s quarterly meetings which are the 3rd Tuesday of January, April, July, and October.
