Board Member
Carlie is the Manager of the Project Management Office at Sun East Federal Credit Union, and has been with the credit union since 2008. She spent her first 12 years in the Operations Department filling various roles such as IRA Specialist, Operations Lead, and Assistant Manager, where she led projects and developed efficiencies across three teams.
Since joining the Project Management Office in 2021 as a Project Manager, Carlie now oversees system implementation projects & improvement programs, vendor management compliance, and disaster preparedness. She also leads the team responsible for the management of “Sun Center”, the credit union’s internal intranet.
Carlie is a Certified Project Management Associate (PMI-CAPM ®) and has additional certifications in Project Management and Grant Writing from the University of Delaware. She is a graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
Carlie lives in Newark, Delaware with her wife and three rescue dogs. She enjoys challenging puzzles, board games, and learning to cook international dishes. Prior to joining Sun East, she spent 3 months in New Zealand exploring her independence.
